Seit der Amtszeit von Präsident Viktor Janukowitsch, also seit gut einem Jahr, ist die Ukraine im Ranking von "Reporter ohne Grenzen" hinter den Irak gefallen. Dar'ya Horowa, Journalistin aus Kiew, liebt ihren Beruf und will ihn trotzdem aufgeben.

Dar'ya Horowa hat in Lemberg, im Westen der Ukraine, Journalistik studiert - parallel dazu hat sie für die Zeitung "Ukraina Moloda" gearbeitet, und auch fürs Nachrichtenmagazin "Nowynar". In Deutschland war sie zwei Monate beim Goethe-Institut und hat bei der Deutschen Welle hospitiert - beim Radio und beim Fernsehen, also in Bonn und in Berlin.
